I. New Course  

PE 539 Coaching and Athletic Administration Practicum (3)

Designed to provide graduate students with opportunities for practical experience in a professional field setting.

To provide students with practical experience in coaching and administration of athletic programs The two-year schedule will need adjusting to ensure that courses are offered as appropriate to meet student needs. A number of interns will be utilized on campus in a campus/community wellness program.  Some interns will be located in close proximity to UWA and may require motorpool expense for visits from UWA supervisors.
II. New Course  

PE 549 Exercise and Wellness Practicum (3)

Designed to provide graduate students with opportunities for practical application of relevant theories in a professional setting.

To provide students with practical experience in fitness and wellness programming. The two-year schedule will need adjusting to ensure that courses are offered as appropriate to meet student needs. A number of interns will be utilized on campus in a campus/community wellness program.  Some interns will be located in close proximity to UWA and may require motorpool expense for visits from UWA supervisors.
III. New Course  

PE 570 Development of Strength and Conditioning Programs (3)

The development and administration of strength, endurance, flexibility, speed, and agility programs.

To provide students with scientific information concerning safe and proper methods of developing athletic attributes The two-year schedule will need adjusting to ensure that courses are offered as appropriate to meet student needs. None.
